Navigating Your Post-Hospital Care

Navigating the next steps for post-hospital care can be a complex process for both you and your family. Whether you are currently exploring discharge options directly from the hospital, or you have recently returned home and realized that a specialized, residential rehabilitation environment would better support your recovery, Neu Living is here to help.

We are dedicated to providing exceptional, bespoke nursing care and a comprehensive suite of therapeutic services, all meticulously tailored to meet your unique clinical and personal requirements.

1. Initial Consultation and Facility Visit

We invite you to reach out to our dedicated team to discuss your current circumstances in confidence. We can provide detailed information regarding our services and help you understand how we can support your specific needs.

To truly appreciate the standard of care we offer, we highly recommend scheduling a visit to our premises. This provides a valuable opportunity to tour our environment, meet directly with our multidisciplinary clinical team, and determine firsthand whether Neu Living is the optimal setting for your or your loved one's recovery journey.

2. The Referral and Assessment Process

Following your initial discussion and facility tour, the next step is to complete a formal referral.

Requesting a Form: You can request our referral documentation by emailing our admissions team at enquiries@neu.living.

Clinical Review: Upon receiving your completed form, our clinical experts will thoroughly review the information provided.

Assessment: We will then contact you promptly to arrange a comprehensive, personalized care assessment to ensure we can safely and effectively meet your rehabilitation goals.

3. Exploring Your Funding Options

We understand that navigating the financial aspects of residential rehabilitation is a crucial part of the decision-making process. There are several avenues available to fund your care:

NHS ICB Funding: Our experienced team can provide guidance and assist you in navigating the application process for NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) funding, should you meet the eligibility criteria.

Legal and Accident Claims: If your need for rehabilitation is the result of an accident, we strongly advise consulting with a qualified legal professional to explore potential compensation or interim funding claims.

Private Health Insurance: Coverage may be available through a private medical insurance policy provided by your employer or your spouse’s employer.

Alternative Insurance Policies: You may also be eligible to claim care costs through other personal insurance policies, such as personal injury, critical illness cover, or income protection.

Self-Funding: We also welcome individuals and families who choose to finance their care independently.

4. Securing Your Admission

Once your clinical assessment has been successfully completed and the appropriate funding arrangements have been verified and finalised, our admissions team will work closely with you to establish a seamless admission date to Neu Living.
